Master Composter Training Course

PV Waste Solutions will be partnering with the Saskatchewan Waste Reduction Council (SWRC) to bring the Master Composter Program to Regina this spring!

The Master Composter Program was created to train community members in household composting techniques and presentation skills so that they these volunteers can provide composting education programs in their municipality.

This program is great for anyone interested in spreading composting awareness and education including teachers, students, gardeners, sustainability officers, community leaders and retirees.

Once certified, Master Composters take on a variety of activities to carry out their time commitment.  These depend on the needs of their community and their own personal interest areas.  Some have arranged composting education sessions for their local churches, community gardens, or other community groups. Some staff booths at gardening shows, while others education their neighbours or offer home consultation visits.  There is also potential for future job opportunities with PV Waste Solutions.
